In the July 2015 edition of the Geological Society of Australia Magazine (TAG magazine) is an article on Geotrails (walking/hiking trails to see geological sites of interest). The article also discusses the updating of Cartoscope’s Geotourism Map of NSW.

The first edition of the Geotourism Map was published by Cartoscope in 2013 with technical input by McElroy Bryan Geological Services. MBGS assisted Cartoscope compiling possible geological sites to be referenced in the first edition of this map and then edited Cartoscope’s geological descriptions for each of the sites.

Cartoscope has been in the business of producing maps for the mining and tourism industries since 1969.
