This manual is part of an ACARP project to facilitate consistent and standardised recording by field geologists of drill hole data for the Australian Coal Industry. The standard has been developed cooperatively by representatives of coal exploration and mining companies, consultants, and software providers, in Queensland and New South Wales.

A couple of our MBGS geos made it to the front cover, working on large diameter core in the Hunter Valley. Nice logging Jenny and Zulaa!
