Janet and Karol, two senior members of our computer modelling team, attended the AusIMM’s international women’s day event in Sydney, on March 3. With an attendance of more than 100 it provided an excellent opportunity to meet up with other women in the mining industry and listen to some great talks by the guest speakers. One of the strong messages of the day was that inclusivity and diversity in the workforce benefits everyone – a really positive message for our industry.
