The two yearly Sydney Basin Symposium, organised by the Coalfield Geology Council of NSW, was held in the Hunter Valley on 22nd March 2019. This event is important for geologists as an opportunity to exchanges ideas and strengthen relations with other members of the Hunter Valley coal mining community. MBGS sponsored an anthracite package for the Symposium as part of our continuing support of geological education.
