MBGS is pleased to announce that we are contributing a Lignite Sponsorship to the event this year.  Ruth Henwood, Rowan Johnson and Kerry Whitby from MBGS and Kim Straub (MBGS) and Ross Seedsman (Seedsman Geotechnics) from the ASIMS team will be attending the symposium.  Ross will be presenting a paper highlighting the importance of understanding joint fields when designing longwall mine layouts.  The paper is titled ‘Kinematics of Joint Bounded Blocks in Development Roadways on the Longwall Face’, a relevant topic with the growing number of mines in structurally complex coal deposits.  Look forward to seeing you there.
